UAP Brunei Celebrates 2014 at Year-End Party

On 13 December 2014, the members of the UAP Brunei Chapter gathered at the Star Lodge Hotel for a Year-End Party to celebrate the Chapter's achievements for the 2014.

The Chapter Charter President Jigs Tacbad opened the celebration with a welcome speech highlighting the formation of the Chapter, its successful inauguration, its participation in the World Day of Architecture and National Architecture Week. The Chapter President thanked and congratulated the members for their participation and contribution to a successful 2014. He ended his speeach with a hopeful outlook for 2015 which included the success of the ALE review class, a growth in membership and being part of the 40th year anniversary book of the UAP.

Dinner followed the usual welcome rites, then different committees and the GA took took to the floor for a memorable night of dance & song numbers, and fun games.

Before ending the party, the members flashed green lights from their smart phones and glow sticks in participation of the Green Light Campaign of the UAP to signify the Chapter's support to green architecture, design and technology. This served as a culminating activity for the National Architecture Week.
