UAP Brunei GMM No.2 for FY2021-2022
The United Architects of the Philippines Brunei Chapter
held their Second General Membership Meeting for FY2021-2022 last 6th August 2021.
The 2nd GMM in partnership with Northstar Development Sdn Bhd was held at Simpang 584, JalanTutong, Bandar Seri Begawan, Negara Brunei Darussalam. Led by its Chapter President, Arch. Romeo J. Nabong II, UAP, FRIA, EAROPH updated the membership with the activities and tasks accomplished during the month of July 2021, GMM No.1, Chapter Photo Shoot handled by Committee on Internal & External Affairs, BOD Photo Shoot at The Empire Brunei, Chapter Officers attending the B3 Turnover Ceremony, BOD Meeting No.2.
The main agenda of the meeting was the Induction Ceremony of Incoming BOD For FY 2021-2022, 7th Chapter Yearbook, Sponsorship Status, Winning Chapter Shirt Presentation, 7th Chapter Founding Anniversary. Other important items discussed were the upcoming activities by the Chapter for the month of September 2021.
For the Induction Ceremony of Incoming BOD for FY 2021-2022, CP Arch. Romy briefed the membership that the aforementioned event is scheduled for this 14th August 2021, Saturday, 7:00 PM at Northstar Development Sdn Bhd. The Induction’s theme for this year is Barong Tagalog & Filipiniana.

Chapter Treasurer Arch. Gilbert C. Sicat briefed the membership regarding the Financial Report for the month of August 2021.

It was decided on BOD No.2 that the aforementioned event is to be held this 14th of August 2021, Saturday, 7:00 PM at Northstar Development Sdn Bhd. The Induction to have a Filipiniana Theme in accordance with the theme of the UAP National.
Committee on Internal & External Affairs to spearhead activity, VPO to oversee and CS to draft poster for the said event.
CP Arch. Romy also presented to the membership the current status of the Chapter Yearbook, editorial team working progressively, filtering & proofreading articles, write-ups & photos. Target submission for sponsor advertisement & membership greeting by 10th August 2021.
Committee on Professional Development & Education to spearhead the printing & distribution of the yearbook, targeted for the Chapter’s 7th Founding Anniversary.
Vice President on Programs & Development Arch. Marious “Jojo” C. Anyayahan, briefed the membership on the status of Sponsorships both from the industry partners & members who availed the space for their greetings which will be advertised in the Chapter’s 7th Yearbook.
The team-up of Arch. Rafael M. Robea & Arch. Hernando J. Hautea Jr., won the Chapter Shirt Competition for FY 2021-2022.
The newest chapter shirt shall be in green color, having “Ika-pito” in baybayin script to celebrate the chapter’s 7th Year. The shirt will have a space for sponsor advertisement, the members to receives their shirts for free.
Arch. Ma. Criselda Boller-Cabalu presenting to the membership the proposed Jollibee Kid’s Theme Party for the Chapter in celebration of its 7th Founding Year. Plus Ones to be included in the sign-up.

Past President Arch. Reynaldo M. Ramos forwarded his University Handouts for the Memberships & Graduate Auxiliary usage. Items to be under the care of the Committee on Professional Development & Education.
There being no other items to be discussed, the meeting was adjourned around 10:20 PM.
