UAP Brunei Attends PH Araw Ng Kalayaan Celebration

The United Architects of the Philippines Brunei Chapter has been invited thru the office of the Philippine Ambassador Christopher B. Montero to attend on the occasion of the 123rd Anniversary of the Declaration of Philippine Independence held 15 June 2021 at the Songket Ballroom of the RitzqunInternation Hotel. Led by its Chapter President Ar. Romeo J. Nabong II, other invited Chapter members were Ar. Alan F. Filio, Past Chapter President, Ar. Rey Anthony I. Castillo & Ar. Hernando J. Hautea Jr.
The grand event was graced by Yang BerhormatPehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr.) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister for Home Affairs of Brunei Darussalam. It was also attended by several diplomats and embassy personnel around the Asian region, registered Filipino community organizations and selected guests/individuals.
The main highlight of the occasion was the musical presentation that showcases some of the legendary Filipino artists compositions that were played by select Filipino students/musicians in the Sultanate.
The annual event has started at around 7:45 PM and ended at around 10:05 PM.
