Volunteer Painting Work for RIPAS Hospital

It was a public holiday, but for eight (8) of the UAP Brunei Chapter members, 15th August 2015 was spent painting the Breastfeeding Room of the new Children's Accident and Emergency Department of the RIPAS Hospital in Bandar Seri Begawan. The group answered to a call for volunteers by the local non-profit organization La Vida Bhd. to help paint with a child-friendly theme the recently added peadiatric ward of the emergency room of the said hospital.

Above photos show the architects at work on the Cherry Blossom theme art and the finished product which was done in 4 hours flat. The organizer, La Vida Bhd. and the RIPAS doctors were so pleased and impressed with the room that the group was once again invited to paint 2 more Breastfeeding Rooms in the new Mother and Child block of RIPAS Hospital.
