World Architecture Day 2015: Sketchwalk

The UAP Brunei Chapter through its Committee on External Affairs organized its first Sketchwalk on 4th of October 2015 in celebration of the World Architecture Day 2015 with the theme: Architecture, Building, Climate Commitments and Solutions. The aim of Sketchwalk was to capture the Bruneian identity through manual drawings and renderings of its architecture and architectural elements. The Sketchwalk was held in the city center of Bandar Seri Begawan where the participant were divided into four goups to cover the: the Yayasan Shopping Complex, SOAS Mosque, Lapau Diraja and the Waterfront.

During the GMM No. 4 held on 10th October 2015, the top sketches from each group were awarded:

1st Place - Ar. Rey Ramos

2nd Place - Ar. Neil Rutor

3rd Place - Ar. Criselda Boller-Cabalu

4th Place - Ar. Nonoy Hautea

Sketches with special mention from each group were also recognized.
