The 3rd Year Chapter Anniversary & Induction Ceremony

The UAP Brunei Chapter held its Third Year Anniversary Celebration and Induction Ceremonies on 18th September 2017at the Star Lodge Hotel, Jerudong, Brunei Darussalam.

Honored guests from the Filipino community in Brunei graced the event including the Philippine Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Mr. Meynardo LB Montealegre, Third Secretary and Vice Consul Melvin Almonguera, and other key Philippine Embassy officials, representatives from the Filipino Association in Brunei led by its President, Mr. Rodolfo Adducul, and officers Mrs. Malou Wong,Vice President, and Ms.Mina Balios, Secretary. Also in attendance was Ms. Rose Advincula from Tinkerbell Learning School, who received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Chapter for their untiring support of the ALE Review Program.

Two new members were inducted that evening, namely, Ar. Kevin Bacabis and Ar. Kelly Tajonera.

During the awarding ceremonies, 8 UAP members were given recognition for their exemplary attendance in all the chapter activities. Awards were also given to the members who have shown outstanding performance in their respective committees. Four outgoing officers were recognized for their service and dedication to the chapter, while the lone recipient for this year's Crystal Award was Ar. Ireneo delos Santos, who was recognized for his more than 15 years of contribution to Brunei as an architect.

UAP Secretary General Ar. Renato A. Heray led the induction rites of the Chapter Officers and New Members for FY2017​-2018​.
