Fifth GMM for FY2017-18


The UAP Brunei Chapter conducted its fifth general membership meeting held at Jollibee Kilanas branch on 17 November 2017. The meeting was originally slated with a Technical Product Presentation but due to unforeseen circumstances the presenter had to postpone the event.

The meeting commenced with the invocation from Ar. Christian Lester R. Serrano. Ar. Alan F. Filio, Chapter President distributed the Certificate of Attendance to the Members who attended the recently concluded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminar on Design-Build Services (DBS) and ASEAN Architect Registry. Right after the distribution of the certificates, the Financial Report was presented by Ar. Lilian A. Tampoc-Pena, Chapter Treasurer, to update the Members on the latest financial status of the Chapter funds. The copy of the financial report will be attached to the minutes of the meeting for the Members' personal copy and record.

Other agenda on top of the list are the upcoming Chapter activities like the National Architecture Week (NAW), Year End Christmas Party and the on-going Basic REVIT Workshop were also discussed and presented to the Membership by the assigned Committee Directors.

The Committee on External Affairs headed by Ar. Christian Lester R. Serrano presented their proposal regarding the National Architecture Week (NAW 2017). Meanwhile, the Committee on Internal Affairs headed by Ar. Eric S.J. De Castro also presented their proposal about the Year End Christmas Party (Further details for NAW and Year End Christmas Party can be referred to the minutes of meeting). And lastly, the REVIT Architecture Workshop will continue its final session on 12 November. The workshop is being conducted by two of its Members, Ar. Allan B. David and Ar. Romeo J. Nabong II and a part of Committee on Education service to the Membership. Currently, there are 16 Members participating on the workshop.

Wrapping up the meeting was the presentation of Certificate of Appreciation to the Design-Build Services (DBS) organizing Committee spearheaded by the Committee on Professional Practice headed by Ar. Francis D. Nicdao.
