ESCA Sdn Bhd TPP + Ninth GMM for FY 2017-18
The United Architects of the Philippines Brunei Chapter held its Ninth General Membership Meeting for FY 2017-2018 at Level 2, Jasmine Room, Park View Hotel, Kg. Jerudong, Brunei Darussalam last 06 April 2018. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss upcoming events per committee and come up with a general consensus on the following items namely: 1. Family Day, 2. CPD programs, 3. Software lectures, and 4. Architectural trip to Labuan, Malaysia. All the said items in the agenda were discussed and acted upon by the Membership accordingly. Some unresolved items shall be tackled in the next GMM.
Prior to the meeting proper, a technical product presentation was conducted by ESCA Marine & Engineering Sdn Bhd (a Kuala Belait based company) to the Membership led by its CEO/Director Mr. Masrhiem Taufiq. First to present was Mr. Joby N. Ravindan, Marketing Manager for ESCA Sdn Bhd who gave a brief presentation about DRAMIX products which basically offers security fencing solutions. Next was Mr. Chua Min Hua, Regional Sales Manager for BEKAERT Shah Alam Sdn Bhd who presented the application and advantages of using fibers made of wire filaments, deformed and cut to lengths for the reinforcement of concrete, mortar & other composite materials instead of the conventional rebar mesh. Overall, the technical product presentation was very informative and drew enthusiastic response and queries from the membership.
The technical product presentation conducted by ESCA was successfully organized in coordination with Ar. Rey Anthony I. Castillo, Chapter VP for Operations. The event started around 7:00 PM and ended at 9:56 PM.
