TSK Sdn Bhd Technical Product Presentation
UAP Brunei Chapter attended a Technical Product Presentation on decorative interior lighting and specialized LED architectural lighting organized by TSK Sdn Bhd on 20th of October 2018, Saturday at the TSK Light Experience Showroom, Gadong, Brunei Darussalam. The presentation was delivered in 2 sessions to let the smaller group of members take advantage of the Light Experience Showroom.

The first product showcased by Junrey Dupit of TSK Sdn Bhd, was the Casambi lighting control system designed to be integrated to existing luminaires and already installed switches, as well as LED drivers, bulbs and modules. The Casambi system is made for both the consumer market as well as the professional market. The Casambi system works using its own user-friendly Bluetooth control app that converts a traditional lighting system into a smart system.

The second part of the Light Experience presentation was the Language of Light presented by Ms. Stephanie Singa, TSK lighting engineer, to show how lighting products can affect a given space. After the presentation, there was a short lighting design exercise for the group. A few architects were given the floor to present their design solutions.

A brief lighting design quiz was conducted after the Language of Light presentation, and few architects presented their proposed lighting design for the case study
For the third part of the presentation, TSK Lighting Engineer John Joseph Roy, focused on specification of LED bulbs. He showed how properties of the LED bulb affect the lighting output and color rendering. He also discussed how to determine the lifespan of the bulb.
