UAP BN Brunei Youth Sketch Program
The United Architects of the Philippines Brunei Chapter in collaboration with Mr. Joffre F. Bumatay, Managing Director for North Star Sdn Bhd have joint effort to pilot this program in conjunction with Negara Brunei Government advocacy to spearhead Local Youth Civic and Social program in encouraging them and be part of government general plan for the next generation of young and vibrant young leaders who could contribute to the continuous prosper of the nation.
The UAP Brunei Chapter and its Membership “mission” is committed and dedicated to contribute by giving mentorship, short training program and encouragement to interested young individuals and youth group who are willing to participate and express their desire to learn and eventually found their future course of interest to be an Architects, Designers, Land Scape Architects, Town Planners, Interior Designers or even Environmental advocates.
It is a great opportunity for the Brunei Youth to tap from these experienced and seasoned UAP Brunei Chapter Architects who are actively working in Brunei in various capacities as architects, architectural designers, administrative- supervisory positions and construction firms as consultants.
The UAP National "National Directive" in line with the pronounce program; "LET ARCHITECTURE BE KNOWN TO THE PUBLIC" is the guide line the Chapter and its Membership are pursuing. Through civic and social activities, Local Brunei Youth can set their goals for tomorrow’s future driving force as leaders that the government is committed upon.
The Chapter will continue to pursue this program as its pledge and part of our gratitude and contribution to the host country, Negara Brunei Darussalam. The Chapter also gives its sincere appreciation to North Star Sdn Bhd for their continuous support to this noble activity and social programs.
The scheduled date for the awarding of certificates for the Top 5 honorable Mentions and Distribution of certificates of participation to the participating students will be on 18th November 2018, 10:00 AM at North Star Office. The activity has started at around 10:00 AM and ended at 12:15 PM.
