UAP Brunei Attends FA Salo-Salo Together sa Pagtatapos ng Taong 2018
The United Architects of the Philippines Brunei Chapter (UAP BN) attended the Filipino Association in Brunei (FAB) year-end gathering entitled "Salo-Salo Together sa Pagtatapos ng 2018" on 9 December 2018 held at the Indera Kayangan Ballroom of the, Empire Hotel & Country Club, Jerudong. The event was attended by members of the FAB, its member organizations as well as officials of the Philippine Embassy in Brunei. The annual social gathering serves as a venue for the FAB and its member organizations to get together in fellowship and camaraderie especially in the holiday season. In addition, the FAB also presented its Accomplishment Report in the spirit of transparency and accountability to its members. The programme included fellowship dinner, live band entertainment, raffle draw and a group dance competition participated by the member organizations.
The UAP Brunei Chapter was adjudged the grand prize winner in the group dance competition beating the other organizations namely, BFEC, GIBFI and TGBI-TO. Lucky members who won special prizes in the raffle draw were Ar. Rey Ramos, Ar. Orville Dulce, and Ar Yolito Amante. Another chapter member, Ar. Roland Oficiar, was declared as the night’s Mr. Gatsby. He bested four other hand-picked candidates from the crowd. Overall, the Chapter went home victorious and plans to share the prizes it has received to the membership in the next General Membership Meeting.
Some notable guests present during the event was Consul Pete Raymond V. Delfin along with other PEB officials. Representing Chapter this year in the FA Salo-Salo Together were: Architects Reynaldo M. Ramos, Yolito I. Amante, Nina L. Torregosa, Orville J. Dulce, Jimmy D. Villanueva, Aladin C. Agitan, Roland C. Oficiar, Wario C. Tacbad, Pedro L. Fontanilla Jr., and Romeo J. Nabong II.
The event has started at around 7:45 PM and ended at 11:35 PM.
