UAP Brunei Participates in the PEB Recycled Parol Contest 2018
The United Architects of the Philippines Brunei Chapter (UAP BN) attended the “Kapihan at Pasko sa Pasuguhan” held on 21 December 2018, Friday at the Philippine Embassy compound Simpang 336, Diplomatic Enclave, Jalan Kebangsaan, Bandar Seri Begawan, Negara Brunei Darussalam upon the invitation of the Philippine Chancery Brunei Darussalam. Prior to the start of the program, Mr. Pete Raymond V. Delfin, Charge d’ Affaires had enumerated to the Filipinos in attendance some of the PEB’s accomplishment and milestones it has achieved for the unfolding year.
Moving on to the programme proper, the Chapter parol entry was adjudged as the “People’s Choice Award 2018” besting 10 other parol entries from other Filipino organizations. It has received a total vote of 107 from a total of 494 OFWs who were given the opportunity to vote their own choice of parol. Aside from the parol contest there was also a group presentation contest whether singing or dancing.
Members representing the Chapter were led by its Chapter President Reynaldo M. Ramos, Yolito I. Amante (Lead member) and Romeo J. Nabong II. A member of the UAP Parol team 2018 that has not able to attend the event was Ar. Nina L. Torregosa, who is currently on holiday vacation. The event has started at around 7:35 PM and ended at 10:20 PM.
