UAP Brunei Attends Flag Raising Ceremony and Wreath Laying
The United Architects of the Philippines Brunei Chapter (UAP BN) along with other some registered Filipino organizations attended the “Flag Raising Ceremony and Wreath Laying” held on 30th of December 2018, Sunday at the Philippine Embassy compound Simpang 336, Diplomatic Enclave, Jalan Kebangsaan, Bandar Seri Begawan, Negara Brunei Darussalam. The primary objective of the event is in commemoration of the death and martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal.
Right after the flag raising ceremony, all the attendees went straight to the embassy hall for the launching and ribbon cutting of the new acquisitions for the sentro Rizal library. Historical Philippine books and paintings were on display and open for public viewing and reading. Main credit goes to PE Brunei Cultural Office led by Ms. Rose Narvaja-Paz for conceptualizing the remarkable idea as mentioned by CDA Delfin.
Representing the Chapter for this annual event was led by its Chapter President Reynaldo M. Ramos alongside with Romeo J. Nabong II, Chapter Secretary.
A healthy breakfast was served after the program courtesy of PE Brunei. The event has started at around 7:30 AM and ended at 9:15 AM.
