UAP Brunei Celebrates 5th Chapter Induction
The United Architects of the Philippines Brunei Chapter held their Fifth Chapter Anniversary and Induction Ceremony at The Berkshire Hall, Tarindak D’Polo Restaurant, Jerudong, Brunei Darussalam last 12 September 2019, Thursday. Among the VIP guests during the event were H.E. Christopher B. Montero as the guest of speaker, The Filipino Association President, Ms. Maria Luisa Z. Ramos-Wong and Ar. Benjamin K. Panganiban Jr., UAP National President as the guest of honor. Some notable attendees were Ar. Ana S. Mangalino-Ling, UAP Past National President and from the UAP College of Fellows as well. Inducted BOD during the ceremony which was administered by Ar. Panganiban in the presence of Ar. Ling with the College of Fellows were Ar. Dominic N. Cordova, Chapter President, Ar. Charles Lyndsey N. Gloria, Chapter VP for Programs and Development, Ar. Christheart Anthony B. Corral, Chapter VP for Operations, Ar. Romeo J. Nabong II, Chapter Secretary, Ar. Orville J. Chapter Treasurer, Ar. Albert M. Abarintos, Chapter Auditor, Ar. Jonathan J. Amado, Chapter Director for External Affairs, Ar. Kelly L. Tajonera, Chapter Director for Education, Ar. Claire D.G. Franco, Chapter Director for Internal Affairs, Ar. Rafael M. Robea, Chapter Director for Professional Development and Ar. Reynaldo M. Ramos, Immediate Past Chapter President.
During the Inaugural speech of Ar. Dominic N. Cordova, he has mentioned some of the plans that the chapter will undertake for the upcoming fiscal year such as the architectural clinic – free consultation intended for OFW's in parallel with PEB’s Sunday consular services and the chapter newsletter that will be launched sometime in December 2019. These activities are in adherence to the directives of UAP National’s “Get An Architect” Campaign. All of these received green light to proceed from the PEB further validating the statement during the Philippine Ambassador’s speech.
