Joint Meeting between EB, EDUC and GAs

In the effort to assist and encourage the “aspirants of the profession” Graduate Auxiliaries (GAs) in Brunei in achieving their lifelong dream of becoming a full pledge architect in the Philippines, the Committee on Education headed by its Director Ar. Kelly L. Tajonera has proposed to revive the Architect’s Licensure Examinations (ALE) Review Session. During the joint meeting, 5 GAs has signified their participation and 2 of them are planning to take up the board exams next year as informed. Moreover, volunteer mentors from the membership will be tapped again as well to do the lecture on different architectural subjects. However, list of volunteer mentors with corresponding subjects and activity posters are yet to be finalized and will be released/posted once available. The Chapter will also help to reach out for other GAs that may be interested joining the review session. Since its inception in 2015, the Chapter has produced 16 registered & licensed architects and most of them are currently active members of UAP Brunei Chapter. As per schedule, the Kick-off ceremony to formally start the review class will be on 08 October 2019.

Aside from EDUC Committee, also present were members from the Executive Board led by Ar. Dominic N. Cordova, Chapter President. The meeting has started at around 7:35PM and ended at 9:40PM.
