UAPBN GA ALE Review Closing Ceremony

After the 2-months duration of the ALE Review Course program that was conducted by the Committee on Education of UAP Brunei Chapter, that has been running since 8-October-2019 had formally ended and was culminated with a mock exam held at Northstar Development Sdn. Bhd. Office on 29-November-2019. The duration of the course has sixteen (16) sessions in total, covering different ALE subjects using latest JPT review materials, and conducted in 2 different venues to which were Northstar Development Sdn Bhd office and The Filipino Association in Brunei office.

Nine (9) GA’s under UAP Brunei chapter attended the said program while the whole course was mentored by members from the Committee on Education namely, Ar Heric B. Nicdao, Ar Francis N. Nicdao, Ar Kelly L Tajonera, Ar Rey Anthony I. Castillo, Ar Noel R. Consular, Ar Lilian T. Peña and Ar Alan F. Filio, from 1st to 7th sessions respectively. A special crash course with 8-sessions on Design Rule 7&8 was mentored by Ar Heric B. Nicdao with assistance from Ar. Gilbert C. Sicat. With the support of the UAPBN chapter, the committee provided the Rule 7&8 handbook to all aspiring GA’s who have attended the review program.

There will be seven (7) GA’s who has confirmed to take Architects Licensure Examination (ALE) on June 2020, with no examinee taking on January 2020. They are Mr. Herlibon B. Nicdao, Mr. Jun Jun James R. Janier, Mr. Remor G. Llanillo, Mr. Jasper T. Isip, Ms. Flora A. Velasco, Ms. Sorella E. Soriano and Ms. Christine Ann P. Payopay.

With the Committee’s advocacy to help the Graduate Auxiliary to become a full-pledge licensed architects, along with the determination of the volunteer mentors particularly Ar Heric B. Nicdao to mentor GA’s, the Committee has decided to conduct a follow-up review sessions this coming February 2020 to focus more on Design Rule 7&8. Ar Heric B. Nicdao with Ar Gilbert C. Sicat will again mentor the said subject matter. Full details of the proposed program will be posted in due time.
