2 Chapter Members Attends "Kapihan sa Pasuguan"

The first Kapihan sa Pasuguan for this year was well represented by the Chapter. Representing the Chapter was Ar. Dominic N. Cordova, Chapter President. Joining the Chapter President was Ar. Romeo J. Nabong II, Chapter Secretary. Some of the other attendees were leaders from different Filipino community organizations registered under the Philippine Embassy. PEB expressed its gratitude to all organizations in attendance. Prior the Kapihan proper, PEB has played a video presentation highlighting its accomplishments last year under the leadership of Ambassador Christopher B. Montero.

The main agenda of the Kapihan was the emergency evacuation plans preparation intended for all the Filipinos residing and working in Brunei in the event of any disasters or civil unrest. Another item discussed was the upcoming 36th Brunei National Day Celebration on 23 February 2020. This year attire was also been tackled and the tentative schedules of the rehearsals. Accordingly, few more slots are available for the Philippine contingent. The Chapter on the other hand has already 9 chapter members who has confirmed to participate in this year’s annual event.

The Kapihan started at around 6:30 PM and ended at 8:20. Refreshments followed afterwards courtesy from PEB.
