UAP Brunei Holds 9th GMM for FY2019-2020
The United Architects of the Philippines Brunei Chapter held its Ninth General Membership Meeting for FY 2019-2020 last 06 March 2020 at The Filipino Association office, Jalan Serusop, Kg. De Lima, Brunei Darussalam. The main agenda of the meeting was the Proposed amendments to the 2009 UAP By-Laws. Other important items discussed were the proposed fundraising activity by CIA, proposed CSR activity by EXTAFF and proposed seminars by CPD.
The deliberation of the proposed amendments to the 2009 UAP By-Laws were handled by CP Ar. Dominic and CS Ar. Romy where after going to each items, the Chapter has proceeded to vote and properly recorded the outcome. However, the Chapter will also consult the Committee on UAP By-Laws to request for the rationale of each amendment in order to have a clearer picture on the subject matter. Meanwhile, the official chapter result will be submitted via email to UAP HQ not later than 08 April 2020. Other items under the calendar of business such as Carboot Sale by CIA had some announcements from its Director Ar. Claire, requesting of support from the other committees by having at least a representative during the activity. On the other hand, EXTAFF would look into the possibility of conducting its CSR to Tinkerbell School. Finally, CPD also did presented its proposed seminar talks for the membership sometime in May 2020. Representing CPD in behalf of Ar. Raffy was Ar. Gilbert C. Sicat.
The moderator during the meeting was Ar. Albert M. Abarintos, Chapter Auditor.
