UAP Brunei Chapter First General Membership Meeting for FY2020-2021
The United Architects of the Philippines Brunei Chapter held their First General Membership Meeting for FY2020-2021 last 3rd July 2020 at Northstar Sdn Bhd, STP Building, Spg. 584, Km.7, Jalan Tutong, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam. Led by its Incoming Chapter President, Arch. Romeo J. Nabong II, UAP, FRIA, EAROPH.
The General Membership Meeting was opened by an Invocation by Chapter Treasurer Ar. Eric S.J De Castro. Followed by the singing of our National Anthem, the UAP March & Recital of Architect’s Credo
On the earlier part of the meeting, Chapter President presented to the membership the planning sessions undertaken by the Executive Board and Board of Directors for the betterment of the Chapter.

Prior to the discussion for the Chapter Shirt concept, Chapter President Ar.Romy J. Nabong II acknowledge the all the members who participated for the Annual Chapter Design Contest.

Committee on Education to spearhead the fabrication of the said Chapter Shirt, under the leadership of its Director Ar. Jimmy D.G. Villaneuva.
Presentation and selection of Chapter Yearbook Photo Shoot
Spearheaded by Vice President on Operations Arch. Orville J. Dulce & Committee on Internal Affairs headed by Director Ar. Yolito I. Amante
Photo shoot theme will showcase the Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas (from the Malay name, literally 'Golden Jubilee Crown Park'), formerly known as Eco-Corridor Park (Malay: Taman Eko-Koridor), is a riverfront public park in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. The park was inaugurated on 22 October 2017 in conjunction with the Golden Jubilee of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah's accession to the throne as the 29th and current Sultan of Brunei.
Chapter Treasurer Ar.Eric S.J. De Castro presented to the membership the updated Financial Report as of 3rd July 2020.
Upcoming Activities for Fiscal Year 2020-2021
VPPD Ar. Albert M. Abarintos greeted all the members in attendance and gave praised that we are safe from the current pandemic, afterwards he showcased to the membership the upcoming activities to look forward to, namely the Chapter Yearbook Photoshoot this July 2020, Philippine Embassy Courtesy Call and FAB Courtesy Visits, Chapter Anniversary on August, Induction on September, WAD on October and NAW for December.
Upcoming events to be closely observe Ministry of Heath Brunei Protocols.

UAP Brunei Chapter Merch with UAP Brunei LOGO in Monochome Color Scheme – Blazer & Curved Peak Cap (Velcro & Buckle Strap)
Vice President on Programs and Development Ar. Albert M. Abarintos led the initiative for the Chapter’s Blazer and Cap merchandize which can/will be used for UAP Brunei Chapter Activities. These items are not mandatory.
Member’s unworn blazers (preferably black) are preferred to be sent for embroidery (to lessen Members unnecessary expenses)
Curve Peak Cap was initiated for upcoming outdoor programs.

UAP Brunei Chapter Past President Fdr. Ar. Reynaldo M. Ramos, UAP, QPBD, EAROPH, DFRIA shared to membership his recently conducted Seminar "Understanding The Concept of Project Administration" where he shared his expertise and knowledge as Resource Speaker, held at Tadena Hall, 3F UNP Administration Building, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.
The meeting started at 7:35PM and ended at around 9:45 PM.
