UAP Brunei Chapter Seventh General Membership Meeting for FY2020-2021

The United Architects of the Philippines Brunei Chapter held their Seventh General Membership Meeting for FY2020-2021 last 15th December 2020.The 7th GMM in partnership with NorthstarSdnBhd was held at Brown Sugar King, 6B Jalan Tutong, Mukim Sengkurong, Bandar Seri Begawan, Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Led by its Chapter President, Arch. Romeo J. Nabong II, UAP, FRIA, EAROPH updated the membership with the activities and task accomplished during the month of December 2020.

The first part of the GMM, Chapter President, Arch. Romeo J. Nabong II, UAP, FRIA, EAROPH gave a quick recap on the task and activities completed by the Chapter during the past month; Filipino Association’s Salo-salo Together Year-end Party 2020, UAPQC’s Kyusi Circle 3.0 – Let’s Zoom In: A Closer Look at Singapore’s Architecture and Planning in celebration of National Architecture Week 2020, General Membership Meeting No.6 and Year-end Party 2020, BOD Meeting No.7& the Chapter's Financial Report.

Chapter President, Arch. Romeo J. Nabong II, UAP, FRIA, EAROPH updated the membership with the activities and task accomplished during the month of December 2020.

Chapter Treasurer Arch. Eric S.J. de Castro reporting the members the latest Financial Report as of 14th January 2021 (file to be emailed to UAP Brunei Chapter Members).

Chapter President, Arch. Romeo J. Nabong II, UAP, FRIA, EAROPH, enlightened the membership about the proposed Guidelines for the upcoming Chapter Elections this February 2021, the said guidelines are to be formally drafted as a Chapter Memo in due time.

In addition, the majority of members in attendance agreed with the appointment of Directorship to be settled via voting process.

Chapter Vice President on Programs & Development Arch. Albert M. Abarintos presented to the Membership the upcoming events & activities by the Chapter for February & March 2021.

Arch. Marious “Jojo” C. Anyayahan of Committee on Professional Development presented to the membership the upcoming CSR Activity a Mural painting for Pusat Ehsan’s Kitchen Classroom Block, an ocular visit is currently being scheduled by Arch. Francis D. Nicdao, Director of Committee on Professional Development this coming 23rd January 2021 (Saturday) 2:00 PM.
