Kapihan sa Pasuguan at Philippine Embassy in Brunei Darussalam

Upon the invitation of the Philippine Embassy under the office of Cultural Brunei, the United Architects of the Philippines Brunei Chapter led by CP Ar. Romeo J. Nabong II has attended the recently concluded KapihansaPasuguan held at the Philippine Embassy last 01 April 2021. Together with the Chapter President was Ar, Heric B, Nicdao, Chapter Secretary. This will be the first time PH Embassy has conducted Kapihan due to the Pandemic.
The main agenda in the programme was entitled “Pistang Pinoy sa Pasuguan sa Pagdiriwang ng ika-123 Anibersaryong Proklamasyon ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas” which will be held sometime in June 2021.Notable attendees during the event were H.E. Christopher B. Montero, PH Ambassador to Brunei, Consul General Pete Raymond V.Delfin and the rest of PH Embassy officials & staffs. Audiences were from the Filipino Association umbrella organizations where UAP Brunei is a bonafide member.
According to the presentation made by LaborAttache Melissa Mendizabal, this year’s celebration will be different. There should be 2 organization per booth. These organizations will be requested to showcase products or culinary food pride from the assigned region of the Philippines. A minimal price of all items shall be offered to the visiting public. Ambassador Montero has urge everyone to invite the Filipinos and foreigners as well. At the present, UAP Brunei has yet to commit of joining as it has to inform the general membership first.
The Kapihan has started at around 6:30 PM and ended at 7:30 PM. It was followed by light refreshments courtesy of PH Embassy.
