UAP Brunei's Mural Painting at Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Mariam
As one of the many upcoming CSR Activities lined up by the Chapter, UAP Brunei undertook a mural painting for Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Mariam, a non-Government Charity Organization committed to providing quality education, rehabilitation and training programs for individuals with special needs.
This wonderful philanthropic program was led by the Committee on Professional Development headed by Arch. Francis D. Nicdao through Arch. Marious “Jojo” C. Anyayahan from LAH Consultants collaboration project. The event was attended by 16 Chapter Members and plus the Chapter’s little one.
With nature and the environment as the theme, the main feature is the Cherry Blossom Tree. As the teacher of Pusat Ehsan mentioned that the “Cherry Blossom represents life itself, the fragile & finite nature of existence and the interconnectedness of everything”.
The chapter took the opportunity to foster important team-building skills among its members and to showcase their creative prowess during the process. The event manages to instill a great sense of accomplishment after the day’s work while making the final Artwork itself a personal masterpiece by the chapter. The activity was just one among the other community outreach programs since its inception in 2014.
The event has started at around 8:00AM and ended at around 4:15PM.
Attached below are the snippets during the painting works.
